I got a Golden Gate Ficus, the description says it’s about 7 years old. Upon receiving my bonsai, I was pleasantly surprised to find it even more stunning than in the advertised picture. During transportation, only a couple of leaves were lost. The trunk boasts a graceful curve and has a dark brownish-gray color. Leaf drop or even the death of a bonsai is typically caused by either over-watering or under-watering during the hottest and driest summer days. To determine the appropriate amount of water your bonsai requires, I recommended that you purchase a bonsai book.
My bonsai has been pruned and shaped into an elegant S-shape. Bonsai pruning and shaping can be a complex task and is best left to a trained professional. Unlike the cheap plastic potted bonsai trees commonly found in home supply stores, this ficus tree is a true work of art.

My tree was delivered 2 days early and I was shocked how awesome it was. Thick trunk, lots of leaves, and very healthy. Was nervous about getting it mailed but it arrived perfect. My ficus even had moss growing up the trunk. Love it!!

This plant arrived fast and safe, with only a tiny broken branch from shipping. But no worries, I replanted it and it’s still growing strong a few weeks later. The main tree looks exactly like described and has been healthy and growing since I got it.

Lots of leaves, healthy, and a pretty twist in the trunk. A few leaves have fallen off but it has new growth starting so even though I’m busy and not giving it a lot of attention, it still looks good after a couple of months.

The item arrived exactly as depicted in the image. I attached the tag that came with it to a decorative pot stick, making it a perfect gift. It’s in great condition and was well-packaged, ensuring that it arrived healthy and not dried out ((I’m in northern Indiana). I just need to get a humidity tray for it now to keep it in optimal condition.
